AD| A bee-autiful origami necklace from La Menagerie

Hi everyone,

Excuse the awful pun but I couldn’t resist. Necklaces are one of my favourite pieces of jewellery to wear, but I’ve never been a fan of plain necklaces. I’m always searching for ones that are a little different, or ones that I don’t often see people wearing – which is why my silver Bee Origami Necklace from La Menagerie is so perfect.

With 25 animals to choose from, there’s an origami necklace for everyone, whether you like cats and whales or dinosaurs and koalas. It took me the longest time to choose which animal I wanted to go for because I’m a massive dinosaur girl but I have a dinosaur necklace already so thought I’d go for something a little more ~grown up~. I don’t know which part of my brain was telling me that a bee necklace is more adult than a dinosaur necklace but apparently I listened to it anyway.

Aside from intricate each necklace is, my favourite thing about this brand is that they donate a portion of their sales to charity, which always impresses me. 5% of all of their sales go to the World Wildlife Fund, which is a charity that helps to conserve endangered species including tigers, rhinos, and elephants. Isn’t that lovely?
