A little bit of luxury from Ingle & Rhode | AD

I’m not going to lie to you – I’ve never really been in a position to delve into the world of luxury. In fact, my idea of luxury is treating my windowsill to a fresh bunch of daffodils. Although I’m not all that into luxury or high-end fashion, one thing I am very much into is ethics.

Ethics can be anything from something small like recycling (I’m that person that always asks people if they have a recycling bin when I go to their house for the first time) to, in this case, supporting brands that make the effort to make careful, ethically-conscious business decisions.

If you are in a position to treat yourself or someone  you love (Valentine’s Day is coming up, after all) to an investment piece of jewellery, Ingle & Rhode may have just the thing you’re looking for.

Every piece of jewellery they have to offer is made individually in the UK, using high quality materials that they can trace back to their source. For example, this means that all of the gems they use in their pieces are mined by adults working for fair wages and good working conditions.

These little Lotus Flower Earrings are a part of Ingle & Rhode’s Silver Collection. They’re made from fair-mined sterling silver, complete with cut dainty Canadian diamonds.

They’re around 12mm in diameter and come complete with sterling silver scroll backs. They’re perfect if you’re not quite into hoops or dangly earrings but want something a bit more than a stud.

The things that appeals to me most about these earrings is that they’re understated without being over simplistic. I can wear them anywhere and they’ll look lovely without being “in your face” like a lot of high end pieces are.

Ingle & Rhode also specialise in ethical engagement, eternity and wedding rings. Their engagement ring collection features not only diamonds but also emerald, ruby and sapphires with a range of styles and cuts.

If you’re looking for a piece of jewellery that’s a little more personal, a bespoke ring, perhaps, Ingle & Rhode also offer a service that allows you to create your own. With The Bespoke Experience, you’ll be able make choices guided by your taste and budget to create the perfect design for yourself, or whoever you’re creating the piece for. From the stone to the metal – it’s completely up to you.
